As Tabitha heads over to the boy who missed out, you stick around talking to your new distractions for the night. The boy that's into Tabitha doesn't take his eyes off her for a second, and he says to you, "I need to see her tonight."
"Oh, I need you now..."
"I'll make it happen," you reply, you gotta help your girl out. You've also gotta sell some merch, which is conveniently in ear shot of Tabby's conversation in case she's in need of some backup.
Band number four is going on stage, they never hold your interest, so you resort to what you do best, assessing the situations already unfolding. You haven't seen Kelsey and what's here name in a while, or the blonde Nick dragged away. You're sure that situation is unfolding quite nicely. Obviously, you're eager to attend a party that involves all of these people in even more confined spaces...
Your boys (sans Nick of course) are talking to Tabby's boy and the rest of his band. They all turn and glance over in yours & Tabby's general direction with mischievous looks on their faces. This can't be good, you think to yourself...
"Please don`t look at me with those eyes"
Next thing you know they disperse and your phone goes out of control. Three text messages at almost the same time. Because everyone is still looking at you from several corner of the room, you decide not to pick up your phone just yet and distract yourself with your merchly duties.
"Their lead singer thinks you're cute."; "Heard you're hanging out with them tonight?"; "You're not coming to the party?" While you're reading, one more rolls in... "I heard someone’s trying to steal you away..."
"Think you're jealous much, all up in my business"
That last one is from Nick, who, like the rest of his band should mind his own business. Not feeling that any of those text messages warrant a response you close your phone, and glance at Tabby. She looks as if she's had enough and heads outside in a hurry. You text one of your boys back just to say "Come watch your merch," and you follow her out.
IT’S CHARM CITY AND YOU’VE BEEN KNOWN TO SAVE THE DAY.
