SONG MEANING
"Puzzles In Pieces" is a song about being in a long relationship where uncertainity can take over after the "golden time" has passed. It is a time when you, or the person you are with, really starts to question, "Is there anything else out there? Am I missing out?" In this case, it is about where the feeling was not mutual, and the relationship ends. The giving side of the relationship feels like their entire life, that was once put together, is all of the sudden in pieces. Everything that they built for and planned for, is now gone. And as he/she is packing, looking at photographs and things that brought them together, it is a reminder of how their love was supposed to last forever. In the end, he/she is still patiently waiting, until he/she is still patiently waiting, until they can return to the love they had together.-Laurie (Arden)
